The news comes despite reports last year that the social game - developed by OMGPOP but later acquired by Zygna - experienced asignificant downturn in players only months after its release.
According to Zygna, Draw Something is played in 190 countries, in 13 different languages. They claim users have spent the equivalent of 28,000 years drawing in the app.
Zynga recently posted an optimistic end of year earnings report for 2012, with full year revenues up 12 per cent.
